Man arrested for attacking taxi with didgeridoo
THERE ARE ARGUMENTS with taxi drivers. And then there are arguments with taxi drivers that end in you battering their taxi with an enormous native Australian musical instrument.
A Southern California man has been arrested after police say he whacked a taxi with a didgeridoo in an argument over the fare.
U-T San Diego says the 31-year-old man and a woman were picked up on Sunday night in the city of Chula Vista then fell asleep during a 20-minute ride home.
When they arrived, the man got into an argument with the cabbie over the fare, police lieutenant Phil Collum said.
Collum says he went into the house and came out with a didgeridoo. Will we remind ourselves what a didgeridoo looks like?
