A Taylor Swift meme is teaching people about some deadly Irish women in history
IT’S NOT UNLIKE Taylor Swift to go viral these days, given the media storm that continues to encircle her.
A new tongue-in-cheek tweet about the star is now at the centre of attention. Last month, Twitter user @xnulz tweeted a screengrab of the singer from the Look What You Made video with the caption:
Given the world’s love/hate relationship with Tay ATM, it’s not impossible to believe that the tweet was sent with the hopes that it would go viral and create a ‘meme storm’.
However, instead of simply ripping the piss, people are using the tweet to highlight feminist icons past and present.
Including some Irish gals!

Some people just wanted to share tales of their Grenneh’s legendary status.
Which is fine too. Historical in their own right.

And who said we can’t learn anything from memes?
