TAYLOR SWIFT HAS been inadvertently caught up in the aftermath of a bank robbery in Conneticut after police ascertained that the crime was committed by an individual hoping to impress the 28-year-old singer.
26-year-old Bruce Rowley was arrested by Ansonia Police last Thursday after two witnesses identified him as the person responsible for holding up Webster Bank the previous day.
According to reports, Rowley didn’t just commit the crime in order to get Taylor’s attention, he even went as far as travelling to her residence and leaving money on her property.
Ansonia Police have confirmed this for the media.
He stated that he drove to Taylor Swift’s house and threw some money he stole from the bank over her fence. Rowley reported that he tried to contact Swift however she was not home.
It has been established that Rowley drove 60 miles to Taylor’s Rhode Island mansion in order to throw $1,600 into the singer’s garden.
Rowley faces charges of robbery in the first degree and larceny in the fourth degree following the incident on April 4.
