People are a bit cross at Taylor Swift for lumping Ireland in with the UK

What is it with celebs and their geographical knowledge?

TAYLOR SWIFT IS coming back to play Ireland in a little over two weeks, and people are very excited about it – including Taylor herself.

Before that though, she had a few other things to attend to, like playing at the BBC’s Biggest Weekend Ever and giving her first recorded interview since she went into hiding pre-Reputation.

BBC Radio One presenter Greg James managed to rile up the Swifties when, during said interview, he told Taylor she needed a shower. Awkward.

In fairness, he was probably just having a LOL. But stans will be stans, I guess.

Taylor followed up the performance with another Instagram discussing her upcoming UK tour dates …

… But included her Dublin ones in the caption?

I missed you UK! We’ll be back to the UK and Ireland to see you SO soon on the Reputation Stadium Tour at Etihad Stadium in Manchester (June 8 and 9), Croke Park in Dublin (June 15 and 16), and Wembley Stadium in London (June 22 and 23).”

Hmmmmmmm. Not great now. I mean, it doesn’t take that long to stick in “& Ireland on the end”, gal.

Twitter responded, immediately.

Let’s hope she’s brushed up on her geography knowledge by the time she lands in Dublin.
