Taylor Swift's new song provokes hysterical "I'M DEAD" reaction from fans
TAYLOR SWIFT UNDERSTANDS her fans.
She understands that they exist online and they communicate on Tumblr and Twitter and that they love her more than life itself.
So much so, that her music appears to slay them.
Speaking on last week’s Graham Norton show Swift addressed her fans’ penchant for using language like “I’m dying”, “I’m dead” and “I died” with reference to her music.
It’s language and a meme that tends to originate and be perpetuated on sites like tumblr, gaining a massive foothold within a fandom.
So, when Swift released the teaser song Out of the Woods from her new album 1989, the reaction was, understandably, hysterically morbid:
