Harlem Globetrotters visit teacher who went viral with basketball trick
SOMEBODY ALERT THE people behind the Coolest Person of the Year Awards, because we think we have a winner.
David Hovan, who’s a physics teacher at a high school in Washington DC was filmed by a student earlier this week, spinning a basketball on top of his pen while marking a paper.
Well, the Harlem Globetrotters caught wind of his skills, and yesterday organised a surprise visit from Globetrotters’ Handles Franklin, who challenged him to recreate the trick:
According to the Washington Post, Hovan has also been invited to display his skills when the Harlem Globetrotters play in DC next March.
