Teen fined for taking 'lads in the court box lol' Twitter selfie in the dock
AN 18-YEAR-OLD who took a selfie while in the dock in court and posted it on Twitter has been fined by the judge.
Joel Norris took the picture of himself and his four co-defendants and tweeted it with the message:
The Bournemouth Echo reports that Norris was later contacted by police he admitted he had taken the photo and didn’t think at the time that he was doing anything wrong.

Norris wrote a letter of apology expressing his remorse after he was asked to consider the impact such an act might have on his victims. He had been appearing in court with four other men in their late teens charged with threatening behaviour.
Norris was also ordered to pay a fine of £290.
Back in March a Welsh man was ordered to pay £400 after he took a selfie in the public gallery.
