Teens arrested for snorting human and dog ashes
POLICE IN FLORIDA HAVE ARRESTED three teenagers who are accused of breaking into a woman’s home and stealing a number of items, including the ashes of the woman’s late father and two dead dogs.
The men accused of the burglary told investigators that they had snorted and tasted the ashes in the mistaken belief they were actually heroin or cocaine.
The Marion County sheriff’s office says that the men discarded the ashes upon realising their mistake, and a search for the ashes continues.
The alleged burglary victim also says that electronics and jewellery are missing from her home.
The three men, one aged 18 and two 19, are facing multiple burglary charges and have been charged, along with two juveniles, for attempted burglary and impairing a phone line at a separate residential property.
