Paterno (Sky Atlantic, 9pm)

Biographical drama about Joe Paterno, the football coach who had a lot to face after the Jerry Sandusky abuse scandal. Jerry, the defensive coordinator for Penn State was arrested in November 2011, on 52 counts of child sexual abuse occurring between 1994 and 2009. Paterno was later terminated for not reporting what he knew.

The Split (BBC 1, 9pm)

A family of female divorce lawyers have to face their past when their estranged dad appears after being absent for 30 years.
