First Dates Ireland (RTE 2, 9.30pm)

Tonight, we have our first ever date carried out using sign language. John Charles is surprised to find that his date Stephen from Dublin is fluent is sign language, as he explains he usually has to communicate with his dates via a mobile phone, sending texts back and forth. Tune in to see if they’re a match.

Operation Transformation (RTE 1, 8.30pm)

We check in with the leaders to see how they’re getting on with their weight and lifestyle transformation.

Rhod Gilbert, Stand Up To Shyness (BBC 2, 9pm)

Comedian Rhod Gilbert opens up about his experience with social anxiety and explores how stand up helped him overcome it. He also looks at ways that might help other people overcome their shyness.
