Interview compilation highlights the sexist questions only put to actresses
IT’S THE QUESTION all women are asked on the red carpet. “Who are you wearing?”
Upworthy have compiled a video compilation of all the stupid questions female celebrities are asked during interviews. All the classic topics are there. Motherhood, weight, diets, underwear, lack of underwear…
The video was created in the hope that this awards season would see a change in the line of questioning put to award-winning actresses.
#AskHerMore was trending on Twitter during the Golden Globes red carpet earlier this month, and people were tweeting what they would like E! red carpet host Ryan Seacrest to ask women instead of simply who made their gown. The hashtag was started last year by the Representation Project and has gained support from the likes of Amy Poehler’s campaign group Smart Girls.
