What to watch on TV tonight: Friday
DAILYEDGE.IE ROUNDS UP the TV shows that you’ll be tweeting about tonight and talking about tomorrow.
The Late Late Show Valentine’s Special (RTE 1, 9.35pm)
Forget the Toy Show, this is the most anticipated date on the Late Late calendar in my book. Ryan Tubridy is playing cupid with 200 singles in the audience, as well as guests such as The Young Offender cast, Sinitta, and er, T’Pau. Classic.
Thor, The Dark World (RTE 2, 9.30pm)
If the Late Late Show doesn’t tickle your fancy, watch a Marvel movie again. Thor joins his brother Loki to put an end to an alien God that wants to put the world into darkness.
The Graham Norton Show (BBC 1, 10.35pm)
It’s gonna be tough to chose between this and the Late Late tonight. Tonight, Will and Grace stars Debra Messing and Eric McCormack will be on the show, as well as Saoirse Ronan and comedian Rob Beckett. Keala Settle performs This Is Me from The Greatest Showman. Sounds like a good one.
Everyone’s talking about… The Celebrity Great British Bake Off
The Lineup is finally here and includes Ruth Davidson, Jamie Lang, Teri Hatcher, Harry Hill, Tim Minchin, Stacey Solomon, Roisin Conaty, Ricky Wilson, Perri Kiely, Nick Hewer, Melanie Sykes, Martin Kemp, Lee Mack, Kadeena Cox, Joe Lycett, Griff Rhys Jones, Ella Eyre, Bill Turnbull, Alan Carr, and our very own Aisling Bea.
