Tesco just pulled off this heart-melting Christmas stunt in Ballincollig
EARLIER THIS MONTH, Tesco sent their publicity team to a supermarket in Ballincollig, Co Cork. There, they asked shoppers what their Christmas wish was.
The supermarket got a lot of answers, including this dad-of-two who sadly had to work on Christmas Day…
… and this woman whose sister was stuck away in Canada.
Then, later they called over to the shoppers’ houses…
… and made their Christmas wishes come true. It was a bit wonderful.
The dad got a weekend away after Christmas, to spend some quality time with his kids.
Here’s how he reacted.
And then there was the moment when the woman called her sister, to say she’d been given tickets for her to come home.
*sob*
Yes, it was a publicity stunt. But it was great. Here’s the full video:
Sorry. We’re fine, honestly. No, no, I think the air must be dusty or something.
