Harry Potter was dubbed as Gaeilge and Voldemort's voice sounded so weird

TG4 made TV a little more creepy last night.

VOLDEMORT JUST GOT a little scarier – as he switched up languages and spoke our very own Gaeilge on TV last night.

TG4 showed ‘Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows – Part 2′ yesterday, and it was all dubbed in our native language. This was great, except that Voldemort’s Irish voice actor made the character a whole lot creepier.

Most people watching thought the voice added a sinister touch to an already eerie character.

Though some thought that the Gaeilge version of Voldemort lost all his powers of intimidation.

But everyone was in agreement that he absolutely nailed his cúpla focal – and to see him do so was just a little surreal.

For some, the whole experience of Potter as Gaeilge was just as good as the movie itself.

What do you make of this new Gaelic version of Voldemort?
