The 12 burning questions* of Xmas: Christmas lunch or dinner?
THE FESTIVE SEASON. A time of joy and goodwill to all… Oh, who are we kidding?
Christmas, New Year and the fallow period in between are ripe for misunderstandings, family tension and silly arguments. We’re here to gauge the temperature on the niggly rows of the season and set them all to rights.
Today: Oh yes. The Big Dinner. Our Spanish colleague Miguel (hi Miguel!) tells us that he had his Christmas dinner last night, as per his country’s tradition. AND he has seafood. The only division for us today is whether the Christmas Day dinner should be served around lunchtime/early afternoon (hi Gavan!) or in the evening (hi Aoife!):
