The 6 most hated items of clothing on the internet

You’ll be throwing your crocs and leggings out in mere seconds.

IN A LOUISIANA town people wearing trousers that sag too much will now have to pay a fine.

It’s an attempt to make people “look decent” across the town of Terrebone Parish.

We reckon it’s a bit extreme but there are some clothing choices people make that leave us confused.

Not only do they baffle us, they seem to baffle Twitter users who seem to find the popularity of certain items inexplicable.

Here are some controversial items of clothing discussed by the good people of the internet.

1. Ugg boots

They’re still insanely popular, presumably because people are so hypnotised by how comfortable they that they don’t realise their feet look like woodland creatures have attached themselves to their body.

But the internet is on your case:

They just want to know why:

2. Onesies

Oh yes it’s all fun and games dressing like overgrown children.

But Anna Kelle who appears on MTV UK’s The Valleys (ask a young person) is on your case, shaming her own friend via Twitter:

If the judgement of one of the stars of a Jersey Shore knock-off doesn’t dissuade you then please note this video that shows the true danger of trying to lark about in a onesie:

Also there’s this to deal with:

Shudder.

3. Denim shorts

Look we know it’s nearly “festival season” but we’ve played this denim shorts thing out to death.

We’re thinking mainly of the army of denim short clad ladies at every outdoor music event last summer.

Don’t take our word for it just ask Twitter:

Like, denim shorts (or cut offs if you are an American) are so over:

And if the experience of those at US music festival Coachella this weekend is anything to go by, people are reaching their denim shorts limit:

4. Leggings as a trousers

Despite what you may think, it seems that leggings as trousers are not deemed acceptable by many Internet users:

Lucy is so confused she forgot to add a question mark to this tweet:

Phoebe also asks why but thinks to include a question mark

And fashion writer Poppy Dinsey has reminded us that it’s not a good look and that nude leggings are terrifying

5. Pyjamas in public

A very controversial one this but we’ve a found a tweet that proves you can’t wear your pyjamas in public

You heard the man, boos. It ain’t cute. Apparently

Consider that the final word on the matter.

6. Crocs

Dear oh dear.

Crocs are seemingly popular but if you want proof that some people don’t like them then you need like no further than the Twitter account Worse Than Crocs

Using Crocs as a kind of “things that are inherently bad” standard it asserts that the following things are worse than the much maligned shoe:

In fact the ulimate Worse Than Crocs moment seem to be:

And ultimately:

Oh dear, nobody tell this lady:
