This week… Reader John Manahan has been wondering if people bother to buy CDs anymore – or if they much prefer to pay for downloads (legally, mind) of albums. A straw poll in TheJournal.ie office seemed to conclude CDs are a waste of shelf space… except for one or two old fogies* who liked to be able to flick through their CD – and – brace yourselves, vinyl collection. (*which may or may not include the author).
