The burning question*: How should sandwiches be cut?
WE KNOW HOW you feel. The week looms ahead and you have a lot on your plate.
So do like we do here in TheJournal.ie HQ and get stuck into a serious debate on one of life’s most pressing questions…
This week: We had no idea that this was such a contentious issue but according to An Bord Bia, the great Irish public is divided over how to cut its sandwiches. In a survey used to promote Irish ham sandwiches (!), the national food promotion agency said that 42 per cent of people said they preferred to cut their sandwiches diagonally. The others surveyed preferred to cut it straight across or else leave the sandwich whole before eating.
What do you think of this? Should sandwiches be…
