The burning question*: liquid handwash or bar of soap?

This and very Monday, let TheJournal.ie distract you from the ‘serious’ news with one of life’s REAL dilemmas. (*not really)

WE KNOW HOW you feel. The week looms ahead – but you will still have a lot on your plate.

So do like we do here in TheJournal.ie HQ and get stuck into a serious debate on one of life’s most pressing questions…

This week… Reader Dennis Collins in Cork wants to know if other households are as split down the middle by the following choice as his is:

What about asking people if they prefer bars of soap or the new fancier liquid handwash option we all got used to during “the good times”? I myself go for the poncier version, but others in my family insist on the bar of soap, so the manky thing has to sit there festering in the corner of the washbasin next to my gleaming bottle of Aldi’s finest handwash as a sort of ceasefire compromise.

Thanks, Dennis. We’ve had a similar discussion in the Daly household only this week.

What do you think? Do you prefer…

A. Liquid handwash, or…

B. Bar of soap?

Vote here: To wash hands, I prefer…

Poll Results:

A - Liquid handwash (1541)
B - Bar of soap (373)
C - Can't we all just get along? (123)
