Prince Harry and Meghan Markle to return €8,000,000 worth of wedding gifts... it's the Dredge
EVERY WEEKDAY MORNING, DailyEdge.ie rounds up the best of the day’s celebrity dirt from the top to the very bottom.
Prince Harry and Meghan Markle won’t be keeping a hape of wedding gifts
When Prince Harry and Meghan Markle tied the knot last month, the couple were (unsurprisingly) inundated with gifts from numerous companies and businesses – almost €8,000,000 worth, but who’s counting?
And they won’t be keeping a solitary thing.

Royal protocol states that members of the Royal Family are not entitled to keep gifts if it puts them under any obligation.
In other words, if companies are hoping to grab themselves a little publicity off the gift, that’s a no go.
However, if the gift is a souvenir from an official visit, different rules apply.
Prior to the couple’s wedding on May 18th, they requested that guests make a donation to one of seven charities of their choice: CHIVA, Crisis, Myna Mahalia Foundation, Scotty’s Little Soldiers, StreetGames, Surfers Against Sewage, and The Wilderness Foundation UK.

Bella hasn’t had surgery and she’s more than happy to prove it
Bella Hadid is done with the rumours, lads.
The 21-year-old has been the subject of intense speculation in recent times, with focus on the possibility that the model has had facial surgery.
And she’s not having it.
The Victoria’s Secret Angel spoke to Instyle and insisted that if a scan of her face is what it takes to quash the rumours, then she’s here for it.
Hammering the point home, Bella implied she doesn’t see surgery in her future either.
Well, that’s us told.

Blur’s Damon Albarn turned down a collab with Prince because he wouldn’t let him smoke
The frontman of one of the 90s biggest bands has revealed he let a serious opportunity slip through his fingers when he pied Prince’s offer of a collaboration back in the day.
Speaking to Radio X, Damon confirmed it all came down to a packet of smokes.
Setting the scene, he said:
Then he heard that Prince is pretty particular when it comes to smoking in his house – something Damon couldn’t get his head around.
As far as Damon is concerned, Prince could have smoked as many fags as he wanted around his gaf, so he stands by his decision to this day.
Nope, fail.
And in the rest of the day’s dirt
