Professor Green says his marriage to MIC’s Millie Mackinstosh was ‘toxic’

Back in 2013, Professor Green and Millie Mackintosh tied the knot.

And while many folk hoped the rapper and the reality star would live a long and happy life together, it wasn’t meant to be and they announced their divorce in 2016.

The relationship between the two appeared pretty acrimonious in the weeks that followed, and this week Professor Green has now dubbed his former marriage ‘toxic’.

Speaking to John Bishop, the 34-year-old performer said his divorce was worth the money, and reflected on the impact public scrutiny had on the marriage.

It took away from all of my work and I really didn’t like that and it became quite a toxic relationship to be fair. I was at that point in my career and it catapulted her into a position she wouldn’t have otherwise been in, but she fed off that.

And shocking as it may seem, the rapper wasn’t really to into the idea of mixing in the MIC circles.

I never really mixed with her friends. I don’t like talking about her when she is not here because she can’t talk for herself, but in that world it’s so fake. A lot of [gossip] come out from people that she knew, that’s the only place it could have come from.

Meghan Markle had no idea her dad was planning a paid interview

Earlier this week, Meghan Markle’s father, Thomas, was interviewed by Good Morning Britain hosts, Piers Morgan and Susanna Reid.

During the interview, he discussed his daughter’s engagement to Prince Harry, their subsequent wedding and his son-in-law’s opinion on the Trump Administration.

And apparently, Meghan is stunned he chose to do it.

A source speaking to Yahoo News said:

Meghan does not understand why her father is doing all this. She is trying so hard to fit in and adapt to this very new way of life and she was once again blindsided by a father who supposedly cares about her and doesn’t want to embarrass her.

Their marriage was rocked by rumours of divorce in recent weeks, but according to The Sun,  it sounds like Victoria Beckham is very keen to quash the rumours.

While appearing at the Forbes Women’s Summit in New York yesterday, the mother-of-four gushed over her husband of 19 years.

And she really went for it.

I’m so lucky that I have the support of an incredible husband. He has always encouraged me to follow my dreams and passion. If it wasn’t for him supporting me, at home as well, it would be very difficult.

We really are equal in everything we do at home with the children. He makes it possible.
