EVERY WEEKDAY MORNING, DailyEdge.ie rounds up the best of the day’s celebrity dirt from the top to the very bottom.
Liam Payne filmed himself from inside his shower ahead of the VMAs
We’d assume that most VMA attendees would have hopped in the shower prior to rocking up at Radio City Music Hall in New York last night.
So, with that in mind, it’s not like we’re ever going to require any real proof of their hygiene routine, but it turns out Liam Payne is only dying to provide us with some.
In a bizarre move, the 24-year former One Direction member chose to risk the life of his phone by filming an Instagram story from within the shower… which was running.
For the love of…
Anyway, Liam just wanted to make sure we all knew he was taking over the GQ Instagram at the VMAs.
Hey everybody, it’s me, Liam. I am taking over the GQ Instagram tonight at the VMAs so make sure you tune in and we’ll see what kind of trouble we can get into.
Naturally, Directioners went batshit crazy for it.
is @LiamPayne out to kill me with that of video in the shower like what

Y’all just KNEW getting Liam to post about it in the shower would work. I should sue for emotional distress but it’s also the nicest thing someone has done for me

Kylie Jenner has elaborated on her nine-month media blackout
When Kylie Jenner gave birth earlier this year, she told fans and followers that she had kept her pregnancy a secret because she wanted to prepare for the birth in a ‘positive, stress-free and healthy way’.
And more power to her.
This week, the 21-year-old reality TV star has added to that statement by revealing that she simply wasn’t prepared to share such a ‘sacred, special moment’ with the wider world.
Speaking with Vogue Australia, the cosmetics maven spoke on behalf of herself and her daughter, saying:
I knew that it would be better for us, if me and Stormi just stayed kind of low-key.
Given the level of scrutiny Kylie has endured since her family launched their own reality TV show in 2007 when she was just 10-years-old, she added:
Your hormones are going crazy and your emotions are more heightened, and I just felt like I wasn’t prepared. I just felt like it was a sacred special moment and I wasn’t ready to share it with everybody. I just wanted to keep that to myself.
Fair enough.
Camila Cabello unearthed a tweet she wrote in 2012 and it’s pretty glorious
Last night, Camila Cabello was awarded two Video Music Awards – one for Artist of the Year and one for Video of the Year.
No small feat, says you.
And in a personal Reeling in the Years-style move, the 21-year-old singer unearthed a tweet she wrote as a 15-year-old in 2012 which indicated how desperately she wanted to be part of the whole shebang.
#VMA2012 I wanna be there SOOOOOOO bad you dont understand #someday

Camila reponded to her teenage self by retweeting the original post, and writing:
YOURE NOT GONNA BELIEVE THIS SMOL CAMILA BUT: IN 2018 MADONNA IS GOING TO GIVE YOU AN AWARD FOR VIDEO OF THE YEAR AND YOUR ACNE WILL CLEAR. (sic)
