Madonna says people were ‘too quick to judge’ that Aretha speech
Unless you’ve been living under a rock, you’ll know that Madonna’s tribute to Aretha Franklin went down like a lead balloon at the VMAs on Monday night.
But here’s the thing, according to Madonna, it wasn’t a tribute.
You can say that again, Madge.
The 60-year-old singer, who talked at length about herself on stage, took to Instagram last night to respond to the backlash she received after delivering what many believed was meant to be a tribute to the late soul singer, insisting that she had simply been asked to share an Aretha-related anecdote.
To be fair, if that’s the case, it makes a lot more sense.
Madonna then took aim at anyone who dared think a tribute might be made at the biggest music event to follow the singer’s death last week.
So sue us.
Alright, grand so.

Whitney Port confirms she’s on board for The Hills reboot
On Monday night, it was confirmed that The Hills would be making its return to MTV, eight years after it came to a dramatic end.
Heidi Montag, Spencer Pratt, Audrina Patridge, Jason Wahler, Frankie Delgado, Justin Bobby Brescia and Stephanie Pratt all rocked up on the VMA red carpet before a teaser for the show’s reboot – The Hills: New Beginnings – aired during the commercial break.
But what about the likes of Lauren, Whitney and Kristin?
While most people assumed Lauren and Kristin would steer clear, the jury was still out on Whitney.
But last night, the 33-year-old confirmed that she would, indeed, be heading back to the set.
Taking to Instagram, Whitney announced her comeback.
Indeed.

Fifth Harmony’s Lauren Jauregui responds to VMA shade
On Monday night, Tiffany Haddish took aim at Fifth Harmony during the VMAs – a night which saw their former member, Camila Cabello, take home two awards.
In a move which quickly became the talk of Twitter, Tiffany said:
And by the looks of things, one of the band’s members isn’t having it.
While Lauren didn’t mention any names, it’s fairly coincidental that she chose to post the following sentiments in the wake of Tiffany’s remark.
She wrote:
Interestingly, the tweet backfired in some respects, with some social media users accusing Lauren of doing some shading, herself.
And it looked like that was the final straw.
Right, so.
And in the rest of the day’s dirt
