Cardi B is ‘terrified’ of potential jail-time following attack in strip club

In August of this year, Cardi B was involved in an altercation at Angels Strip Club in New York.

According to reports, the rapper instigated an attack on two female bartenders after she heard rumours that one of them had slept with her husband, Offset.

The attack involved bottles and chairs.

Cardi subsequently handed herself into the New York Police Department, and is now terrified of the prospect of time behind the bars after being charged with two misdemeanours.

Speaking to HollywoodLife, a source said:

Cardi is confident she’ll beat these charges and be proven innocent but it’s still really scary that jail could be on the table.

HollywoodLife states that the 25-year-old could be sued as well as face between 12 and 24 months in prison.

Cardi, who recently gave birth, is struggling with the implications of her actions, with the source adding:

The thought of that is really terrifying for her, especially because it would mean she’d be separated from her baby girl which would be heartbreaking. Cardi can’t stand to spend even one night away from Kulture so the idea of being behind bars, away from Kulture is enough to make her cry, it’s devastating.

Her clean record means that the rapper may avoid maximum punishment, however the attorney representing the two female bartenders is adamant that the rapper will face the consequences.

“Reality is setting in, as justice does not care whether her name is Cardi B or Carly B, and she will now answer for her crimes,” said Joe Tacopina

The court case is scheduled for October 29.

Kristen Bell finds it gas that her daughter regularly threatens to kill her

Kristen Bell is far from coy when it comes to discussing the trials and tribulations of family life. Pin worms, anyone?

And while appearing on The Late Show with Stephen Colbert, the actress discussed her youngest daughter’s reliance on threats when it comes to negotiating with her mam.

“Our three-year-old is nuts, man. She’s nuts!” Kristen replied when encouraged by Stephen to discuss her children.

Sometimes she tells me she’s going to kill me. Truly. Sometimes it’s with a gun.

Naturally, that detail changed the atmosphere in the studio somewhat, so Kristen quickly added:

I know it sounds scary. We’re talking people; don’t worry. But if I tell her ‘That’s a wrap on the candy bar’, she’ll go ‘Well, I’m going to get a gun and kill you, and I only like Daddy.’ And then she’ll just leave the room.

Luckily enough, Kristen says she she doesn’t feel too threatened.

I know it sounds really bad that my child threatens to kill me, but, like, she doesn’t have a gun so I feel like it’s not a real threat.

OK, fair enough.

Meghan Markle’s half-sister wants to draw a line under the drama

Samantha Markle has appeared on British television in a supposed effort to patch things up with Meghan.

Samantha, who has been vocal in her criticism of the Duchess of Sussex after failing to get an invite to the Royal Wedding in May, apparently regrets how things played out.

Speaking to Jeremy Vine, Samantha said: “There is so much water under the bridge and so much has spun out of control that was never intended to.”

I think everybody was hurt by not being included or invited to the wedding, but I felt as though it could have all been nipped in the bud had everyone been included and we all just agreed to move forward with positive resolve, and the hurt feelings wouldn’t have snowballed.

Saying that while she doesn’t love Meghan any less, she doesn’t expect the former Suits actress to be particularly welcoming in the aftermath of this year’s drama.

Interestingly, Samantha went to Buckingham Palace in recent days in an effort to see her sister in person, which is awkward considering the fact she doesn’t live there.
