Matt LeBlanc thought that Joey’s relationship with Rachel ‘felt incestuous’
A new book based on behind the scenes insights from the set of Friends reveals that none of the cast were comfortable with the romantic storyline between Joey and Rachel, with Matt Le Blanc reportedly saying it felt incestuous.
In I’ll Be There For You: The One About Friends, Kelsey Miller revealed:
“LeBlanc said it felt incestuous (especially uncomfortable after so many years of cultivating a brotherly bond with the female characters),” she wrote.
Kevin S Bright, the show’s Executive Producer, confirmed as much in a recent interview with Digital Spy, saying: “In the beginning, Matt LeBlanc did not want to do that story.”
And to be fair, none of the rest of us did either.

Caitlyn Jenner has withdrawn her support for President Trump
In an op-ed for The Washington Post yesterday, Caitlyn Jenner has said she made a mistake by supporting the Trump administration.
Caitlyn wrote that she initially believed his election would act as ‘fertile ground for change’, but says his treatment of the trans community has rendered her incapable of providing any further support.
“The reality is that the trans community is being relentlessly attacked by this president,” she wrote.
Caitlyn says she hopes to move forward and ‘learn from her mistakes.’

Now, however, rumours are circulating that the show will be cancelled.
Speaking to People, a source claimed that damage control was at an all-time high behind the scenes, with staff informed they were being relocated within the network.
