Kim Kardashian has issued an apology over her use of the R-word
Among the many, many costume changes that took place in the Kardashian/Jenner residences over the last number of days, there was one pretty big nod to 90s icon, Pamela Anderson.
Kim, along with her BFF Jonathan Cheban, dressed up as the former Baywatch star and her ex-husband, Tommy Lee, choosing to wear Pammie’s red-carpet look from the 1999 VMAs.
And considering the fact that some of Kim’s younger fans would have next to no recollection of that event, Kim had to spell it out for them, and in the process she used the R-word.
On an Instagram story, Kim can be heard discussing the fact that the costume has gone down like a bit of a led balloon and said:
Nobody knows who I am. Yeah! R****d.
Naturally, there was uproar, and the mother-of-three issued a statement through TMZ by way of apology.
I want to apologise for what I said in a recent video post that is inappropriate and insensitive to the special needs community. I try to learn from my mistakes and this is one of those times. Please know that my intention is always pure, and in this case, it was a mistake. I’m sorry.
Apparently Pamela isn’t too happy the R-word was uttered while Kim was dressed as her either.
Jimmy Fallon knows Justin Timberlake’s safe word (and now so do we)
Justin Timberlake and his wife Jessica Biel appeared on The Tonight Show With Jimmy Fallon this week, and the host was keen to learn whether his 16-year friendship with Justin might trump Jessica’s six-year marriage to him.
So, they decided to roll out The Best Friend Challenge.
Jimmy wasn’t really proving himself any kind of authority on the Mirrors singer until Justin posed his third question: What is my safe word?
Fortunately enough Jessica knew the answer to this, but weirdly so too did Jimmy.
Take a look at this.
And by Jimmy’s reaction, he’s as surprised as Jessica and Justin to be in the know on this one.
Chrissy Teigen isn’t quite sure how to describe her current job
She’s a successful model, presenter and author, and yet even Chrissy Teigen gets a little insecure about her career path.
In a recent interview with Glamour, the mother-of-two noted the differences between her approach to the entertainment industry and that of her peers.
“When I look at the most successful people around me, I feel like they all had plans,” she explained. “But I never had a plan. Never.
I used to be on anti-anxiety medication because I was confused. I didn’t know where I was going in life. All I knew when I was younger, or when I was 18, was that I wanted kids and a husband.
And despite worldwide acclaim and a following that numbers in its millions, Chrissy isn’t quite sure how to describe what she does.
I still don’t know my exact job title. I have no idea what is going to happen six months from now. I don’t know anything. But maybe that’s the way it works for a lot of people. And I’m OK with that.
Fair enough.
