EVERY WEEKDAY MORNING, DailyEdge.ie rounds up the best of the day’s celebrity dirt from the top to the very bottom.
While he might have sported a MAGA hat and rocked up to the Oval Office for some chit-chat with the POTUS, it turns out Kanye hadn’t a breeze what President Donald Trump stood for.
Well, that’s according to Kim Kardashian, anyway.
While appearing at the Criminal Justice Reform Summit in Los Angeles yesterday, the mother-of-three commented on her husband’s distinct 180 degree turn in recent weeks, which he announced by tweeting that “he had ‘been used to spread messages that [he doesn’t] believe in”.
Speaking to CNN, Kim said:
I feel like he’s very misunderstood and the worst communicator. But, when we talk about it, we have very similar politics.
“He’s very not political, actually, he just happens to like Donald Trump’s personality, but doesn’t know about the politics,” she said in a remark which will likely make heads roll.
He. Doesn’t. Know. About. The. Politics.
So, I’ve educated him recently. I think it gets really misconstrued. He will always say he was friendly with him before, and he’s the same person and friendly with him now.
Right.
Pink’s husband has warned potential looters in recent Instagram post
As emergency services attempt to tackle the blaze raging across California and families are evacuated from their homes, Pink’s husband, Carey Hart, has a word of warning for any potential looters.
In an Instagram post which was uploaded yesterday and has amassed more than 40,000 likes, the motorcross star told looters to ‘think twice’ if they were Malibu-bound.
Sharing a photo of armed men posing behind a sign which read ‘Looters will be shot on site. PDC Posse’, Carey wrote: “It’s unfortunate that some people take advantage of others in a crisis.”
While the Malibu fires have been burning, some locals have been fighting off and defending their property against the fires. There have been sightings of looters breaking in to homes. Well, if you are a looter, think twice if you are heading back into Malibu.
He concluded his post with hashtags #DefendYourLand and #2ndAmendment.
Jenna Dewan isn’t here for suggestions that she and Jessie J are dead ringers
Channing Tatum’s ex, Jenna Dewan, is naturally not here for suggestions that she and Channing’s rumoured new partner, Jessie J, are dead ringers for one another.
After uploading a red carpet shot of herself to Instagram this week, a number of Jenna’s followers made reference to her likeness to the British singer.
Countering the suggestions, one Instagram user dismissed the similarity, and Jenna wasted no time liking the comment and responding.
Whenever I hear of the “striking resemblance” w/ Jessie J to Jenna Dewan’… my only thoughts are ummmmm no, not even close. Just trying to spread positive vibes.
“Positive vibes all the way,” Jenna replied alongside a kissing face emoji.
