THE FAULT IN Our Stars is a new teen movie that came out in Ireland yesterday.
It's an adaptation of a bestselling novel by John Green. The novel is about two teenage cancer patients, Augustus and Hazel, who fall in love.
As a teenage book-to-movie phenomenon - and a romance - the movie has already drawn comparisons to mega-franchises The Hunger Games, Twilight and the upcoming Divergent.
It's pretty emotional.
The film came out in the US three weeks ago, and its success has been partially driven by a social media furore. On the day of its US release, the hashtag #TFIOS was tweeted more than 350,000 times.
But even long before the movie was released, fans of the book tracked its production obsessively. When the trailer was revealed in January, YouTube was awash with fans' videos of themselves reacting to watching it. (Here's a GIF of one.)
And people are OBSESSED with how sad the movie is. So much so that since the movie hit screens, TFIOS has created its own particular kind of selfie - the post-TFIOS crying selfie.
(In an interview yesterday Laura Dern, who plays Hazel's mother in the movie, said she enjoys the selfie trend. During the making of the movie, she added, she "learned rather quickly about how passionate the fans were".)
Now that the movie has hit Irish cinemas, the weeping has begun here too.
People are tweeting like crazy about how much they cried when they saw it.
Got your tissues and waterproof makeup? OK, then you're now ready to watch the trailer:
