IN CASE YOU somehow managed to avoid the very loud noises that were coming from the RDS last night, the Killers were in town last night and it was very, very loud.
You’re not a true Dubliner if you weren’t born within hearing distance of The Killers right now.

Very sound of The Killers to put a set on in the RDS that I can listen to in Churchtown. Savage Waterboys cover of Whole of the moon just there!

Like everyone in Dublin, I can hear The Killers. Unlike everyone in Dublin, I stood on a slug going out to see if I could discern the song

Tonight’s debut offering: The Killers. An energetic performance from Brandon & the gang. Featuring hits such as ‘When You Were Young’ and ‘The Man’. And also, some very enthusiastic crowd noises. Then a car passed by my window. And a very loud cat.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Very loud indeed.
Anyway in another great twist, Brandon and the lads decided to get Danny Ross up as a guest on stage to play the drums for them in the middle of the gig.
Former Pupil News: Danny Ross guested on drums with The Killers tonight as they wowed crowds in the summer sun in Dublin

The Mr Brighstide hitmakers were in the RDS Arena for one night only and thousands were in attendance to see them and Mr Ross play. pic.twitter.com/T0k2fux8o5
According to people at the gig, Danny was holding up a sign that said ‘Can I drum?’ and frontman Brandon Flowers spotted it and invited him up on stage once he confirmed that he was Irish. As you do.
This is proof kids that bringing signs to gigs is always a worthwhile endeavour as you’ll never be sure where exactly it’ll get you.
Unreal. Brandon Flowers saw a guy holding a sign that said ‘Can I play drums?’, now a guy called Danny is killing it at the RDS. #TheKillers pic.twitter.com/LnGuMjOAYq

It’s safe to say that Danny grabbed the opportunity with both hands and went hell for leather on the drums. Turns out he’s quite good at the drums too which is helpful.
The crowd were loving it too.
I’ve never seen a crowd root harder than they did tonight at @thekillers for Danny who just got pulled out of the crowd to drum for ‘For Reasons Unknown’ and NAILED IT!! 🙌🏻🥁👏🏻😎

Good man Danny. That’s a cracking story to tell the grandkids.
