The next Riverdance? Victory for Irish troupe in dance show
DANCE TROUPE PRODIJIG walked away with the top prize from Sky One’s Got to Dance final last night after another outstanding performance of its unusual fusion of Irish and hip-hop dancing.
Unusual as it is…it definitely works. Check out the group’s final performance and their first audition below.
The performance had all three judges on their feet and secured a massive £250,000 prize for 27-year-old frontman Alan Kenefick and his six colleagues.
The new new Irish dancing has obviously been influenced by Riverdance as each of the seven members have danced with the hit show. Frontman Alan has said that his first dancing memory is trying to learn the steps from the original Riverdance from a videotape.
