LONG BEFORE IT reached American shores, The Office had viewers in the UK and Ireland utterly captivated and inwardly cringing.

Launched on BBC Two in July 2001, the series catapulted creators, Ricky Gervais and Stephen Merchant, into superstardom, and sure the rest is history.
