OVER THE WEEKEND, The Simpsons kicked off its 26th season. Surely they’re running out of couch gags at this stage?

Not. At. All.

Oscar-nominated American animator Don Hertzfeldt did the honours, and people just couldn’t get over the strange, minimalist representation of the family in the future
