The (sun) burning question*: Is it okay for men to take their shirts off in public?

This and every Monday, let TheJournal.ie distract you from the ‘serious’ news with one of life’s REAL dilemmas. (*not really)

WE KNOW HOW you feel. The week looms ahead – and you will have a lot on your plate.

So do like we do here in TheJournal.ie HQ and get stuck into a serious debate on one of life’s most pressing questions…

This week… Yes, we are going there. We can’t fail to notice the annual bare-chest bonanza as certain portions of the Irish male population show their appreciation of the fine weather with a collective shedding of their upper garments.

What do you think of this phenomenon:

A. Put it away lads, or….

B. Let them bare away – sure, how often does the Irish male chest get to glow in the sun?

Vote here: In the current gorgeous weather, do you think men should feel free to walk around with their shirts off?

Poll Results:

B - Only in certain circumstances, eg, on the beach. (2467)
A - Yes, let it all hang out at any given opportunity. (1232)
C - No, put it away, lads. (538)
D - I'm too hot to think. (188)
