DOES MONEY MOTIVATE you?

No, that isn’t a trick question. And before you answer it, consider economist Daniel Pink’s startling take on what really drives us, based on 50 years of behavioural science.

Pink presents research from economists, psychologists and sociologists that overturns the conventional wisdom about human motivation – and goes some way towards explaining why people engage in unnecessary or unprofitable behaviour like volunteering, writing blogs or giving to charity.

It would seem that – when you consider the big picture – profit is small change.
