The tackiest car in the world: yours for €8.2m
The Mercedes McLaren SLR is one of the most expensive and fastest cars in the world.
However, it was never hailed as the best looking. One man, Ueli Anlicker, took it upon himself to improve the looks. We are not sure he did a very good job.
According to Jalopnik, Anlicker’s heavily modified SLR, dubbed “Red Gold Dream,” is now on the market for just $11 million (€8.2m).
Other than some slight changes to the engine, the car seems to have retained most stock mechanical features.
And if you did not notice, Anlicker has added some very obvious styling modifications. It is not just paint either. The interior is slathered in 14-carat gold and the wheel nuts have rubies on them.
No matter what you think of this insane car, it will definitely start a conversation.
Would you drive this car?
