The trailer for The Dark Knight Rises is out - and it's good.
IT’S TAKEN ITS sweet time – but it’s finally here.
The trailer for next summer’s The Dark Knight Rises is out.
And not that we’d expect anything less from the conclusion of Christopher Nolan’s Batman trilogy, but this looks good.
The trailer starts with Gotham City in an uneasy peace – but, right from the off, things look foreboding.
A kid sings the American national anthem at a football game, gradually fading away as things start to unravel. Anne Hathaway whispers ominously “There’s a storm coming, Mr. Wayne” at some society event. Michael Caine’s voice cracks as Alfred tells Bruce Wayne that he hasn’t been able to protect him.
There’s also a nod to these recessionary times, as Hathaway’s Selina Kyle tells Bruce Wayne: “You and your friends better batten down the hatches, cos when it hits you’re all going to wonder how you ever thought you could live so large and leave so little for the rest of us”.
But that’s enough from us – check out the trailer below:
