THE VOICE UK returned to the BBC last night and there was a bit of a local interest for Irish people watching on.
16-year-old Áine Carroll took to the stage and sang Brokenhearted for Ricky Wilson, will.i.am, Paloma Faith and Boy George.
And she nailed it:
Boy George was the first to turn his chair - and Áine’s family lost it, as you would
And when the other three judges turned their chairs, it was pandemonium - mam lost control of her glasses
Áine went with Ricky Wilson as her mentor, and impressed everyone watching with her voice
Representin’ Cork
Let’s see how this one plays out
That voice, though. Wonderful.
