The show which was the inspiration for Geordie Shore and Tallafornia’ ran fom 2009 – 2012. It featured 8 American-Italians (only two of whom were actually from New Jersey) living together, fighting constantly and getting smashed all the time.
To celebrate the return of this excellent trash TV show, we decided to look back at some of the wilder moments of the show.
1. That time Mike was so angry at Ron that he ran himself into a wall
In season 4, the cast travelled to Italy and the Ron and Sam drama was at an all time high. In a particularly tense moment, Mike and Ron are in a stand-off with Sammi in the middle. Mike’s frustrations eventually boiled over so much that he ran himself into a wall for some reason and nobody really cared. Quality TV.
2. When JWoww and Snooki wrote an anonymous letter to Sammi about Ron
It’s season 2 and Ron and Sam are fighting. They break up (for the millionth time) and Ron ends up motorboating a waitress. All the house knows except Sam and so JWoww and Snooki decide to write an anonymous letter (which you can buy a tapestry of if you want) to her about it. Sam of course works out who sent the letter and chaos ensues.
We’ve all engaged in some day drinking but our good friend Snooki took it quite far when she was so drunk so forgot where the beach was despite being on it. Those frog slippers were an iconic look though.
In season 3, Snooki and JWoww manage to make their way to the top of the nightclub which has no bathrooms. JWoww’s choice of huge heels doesn’t help and she decides to make her own bathroom. Oh lads.
Season 3 truly was a wild season for the show and really showed how toxic Ronnie’s relationship with Sam was. In one odd moment, he goes off at Sammi yet again and decides to healthily deal with his emotions by trashing her room and putting her bed outside because ‘you want to be a dog? Then you can sleep outside’. Alriiiiiiight.
Now whether this girl Danielle was “stalking” Pauly is really up for debate however the entire conversation of ‘Is it my turn to talk?’ reminds me of Vincent Browne’s iconic ‘Shut up Bernard’ line. The parallels are unreal.
Angelina was in seasons 1 and 2 of the show but never really clicked her fellow housemates. Accusations of bullying were made and she did leave the show for good in season 2. Not before she had a wild fight with Snooki which had more hair flying than a wig caught in a fan.
Mike wasn’t the only cast member to make a dent in Italy. Poor Snooki ended up sending two police men to the hospital with minor injuries after crashing into their car. Always check your mirrors kids.
‘Jersey Shore: Family Vacation’ will air from April 5th and has already been renewed for a second season. Unfortunately Sammi will not feature so we’ll have no ‘RAHN STOP’ moments any more but otherwise the show looks as wild as ever. Time for a rewatch binge.

Just 8 of Jersey Shore's wildest moments
IT WAS ANNOUNCED last November that MTV’s most debaucherous show ‘Jersey Shore’ was getting a reboot.
The show which was the inspiration for Geordie Shore and Tallafornia’ ran fom 2009 – 2012. It featured 8 American-Italians (only two of whom were actually from New Jersey) living together, fighting constantly and getting smashed all the time.
To celebrate the return of this excellent trash TV show, we decided to look back at some of the wilder moments of the show.
