Spotify have compiled the most popular first dance songs, and they're just as you imagine

Basic. So basic.

YOUR FIRST DANCE is a special moment in your life, and the song is definitely an important shout.

It might mean something special to you both, it might remind you of this love of your life, it might be the song playing when you met… or, it could be Thinking Out Loud.

Spotify have compiled a list of the most popular first dance songs on the streaming service, and Ed tops the lot.

To compile the list, they analysed over 400,000 wedding playlists across the world, and picked out this top list.

  4. Marry Me by Train
  5. Tenerife Sea by Ed Sheeran
