This guy wanted to propose to his girlfriend - so he pretended to crash a plane

“She thought we were dying and ended up with a ring!” says the prankster.

WHEN PILOT RYAN Thompson wanted to propose to his girlfriend Carlie last February, he decided to take her up for a romantic flight above Chicago.

And then make her think the plane was going to crash.

If that sounds like the sort of thing that should get a man dumped, then you’d be surprised to see how calm Carlie stays throughout the whole ordeal – we can’t say we’d have been as composed.

“She thought we were dying and ended up with a ring!” is how Thompson cheerily describes the proposal on YouTube.

When Thompson eventually pops the question, rather than wanting to chuck him out of the light aircraft for nearly giving her a heart attack, Carlie says…. well, we’ll leave you watch that bit yourself.

Hopefully the happy couple won’t pay heed to the warning from one YouTube commenter:

marriage is worse than [a] crash with [an] airplane.
