DATING IN IRELAND is hard. Everyone knows everyone and you’re always at least two degrees away from accidentally dating your third cousin. If you’re LGBTQ+ then the pool is even smaller and you’re at least one degree from your ex at any given moment.

And so we turn to online dating in the hope that we’ll find someone that’s a little different than the others. Some of us choose Grindr, some of us choose Bumble and most of us turn to Tinder.
