THE AMERICAN VERSION of Andrex is called Cottonelle and this is their delightful packaging for their ‘ultra comfort care’ bog roll:
“Clean ripple texture removes more” it says.
Which has led so many people to ask the same question

How could it remove MORE? Does this mean our toilet roll has been… leaving stuff?
Naturally – because of the rather audacious slogan - a new version has been doing the rounds on the internet and has brought the most confusing slogan of our times to the forefront.
It’s helpfully filled in what Cottonelle removes more of:
People want it to be real so badly
But alas, it is photoshopped.
Still, the very fact that Cottonelle “removes more” is worrying enough in itself. Does Irish bog roll not contain this fabled ‘clean ripple texture’? And how does this impact on its ability to “remove more.”
We need answers (and Cottonelle might need to rethink its slogan).
