BBC RADIO DJ Tony Blackburn was not impressed with the 2014 BRIT Awards.
In fairness, most people weren’t, but he got particularly worked up about the ceremony and had a right old rant on Twitter as the show aired.
Blackburn began early on in the evening by arguing that there really was nobody worth watching on stage at this year’s BRITs, hosted by James Corden for the third year in a row.
He seemed to perk up ever so slightly when Beyoncé arrived.
But then swiftly changed his tune when Ellie Goulding hopped on stage.
However, he reserved the majority of his distaste for one particular group.
And even had another stab at them on the Twitter machine this morning, following Alex Turner’s rather interesting mic-dropping acceptance speech.
We still don’t know why Tony dislikes the band so much, but it seems as though he’s found something far more positive and important to focus on now anyway.
