IT’S BEEN A wild couple of days for Tony McGregor. Not only is he a viral sensation and literally coined a new phrase for change (coinage in case you’ve somehow forgotten) but people are now raising money for him to get a Leap Card.

Comedian Emma Doran set up a GoFundMe for Tony in a bid to make his life on public transport that little bit easier and the man himself has been truly touched by the public’s generosity.
Irish Rail didn’t seem that sympathetic to Tony’s plight though with one spokesperson saying to the Irish Times;
If money is as tight as his trousers, he can also save up to 31 per cent on his fare.”
Tony, on the other hand, is very grateful for all the attention and goodwill his plight has attracted. Speaking to the Irish Sun Tony revealed that the public reaching out has really warmed his heart which is what we all want to hear right?
I am overwhelmed with the generosity of the people who contributed to the go fund me campaign. It touched my heart.”
So far a total of €50 has been raised for Tony which is heart-warming really and if you wish to donate yourself then you can do so here.
Remember, those slim fit Hugo Boss suit won’t buy themselves guys.
As a slim fit, hand-fitted suit wearer with absolutely no room for coinage I agree with Tony McGregor. I am none too plussed by the negative reaction to it.
