2000s girls, brace yourselves: Topshop is trying to bring back the Juicy Couture tracksuit

REMEMBER THE heady days of the early 2000s, when the Celtic Tiger was in full force and we all wanted to wear expensive tracksuits with raunchy slogans written on the arse?
Paris Hilton was probably the biggest advocate of Juicy Couture, but the loungewear was also favoured by everyone from Britney Spears to Jennifer Lopez.
We thought we’d left it behind at the turn of the decade, but no. Like chokers and rip offs and glitter body gel, the Juicy Couture tracksuit is on its way back.
According to Cosmopolitan, Topshop has collaborated with the velour peddlers to launch a range of matching trackies in five different colours – with ‘JUICY’ emblazoned on the bum, of course:

As you might have expected, upping your loungewear game Juicy Couture-style does not come cheap. At all.
The hoodies are £99 (approximately €115, but we know Topshop are…creative with the exchange rates) and the bottoms are £129 (€150). *faints*

One thing remains to be seen: Will the world embrace the return of the €200+ velour tracksuit now that it’s no longer rotten with money? We’re on tenterhooks.
