THERE ARE FEW songs that are more satisfying to drunkenly bellow than Toto’s 1983 hit Africa.

Few people know all the words, but the bits you do know you sing with your entire being.

Now, the people of New Zealand are officially recognising the brilliance of Africa by raising it up the chart.

It all started via a radio campaign on New Zealand’s The Edge, who ware trying to get the song to number one (it’s currently at number five).

Well done people of New Zealand! You have excellent taste.
