Heart-stopping footage of a train ploughing into an 18-wheeler stuck on the tracks

Luckily nobody was killed in the accident.

A LORRY HAULING a long crane got stuck while crossing railway tracks in the town of Mer Rouge, Louisiana on Sunday.

It appears there wasn’t time to alert the railway authorities, and a freight train came speeding along the tracks.

The truck driver jumped clear, according to local police. This eyewitness video was filmed by a couple waiting in traffic by the crossing.

Two engineers on the train were hurt in the collision, with one still being treated in hospital. His injuries are not thought to be life-threatening.
