One guy tricked the internet into believing this made up fact about Will Smith
IT’S RARE THAT one parody tweet can dupe so many people, but over the last 24 hours that’s what has been happening.
US writer Jonathan Sun sent this tweet out on Sunday night – and it looked like he had stumbled upon quite the revelation:
Yes, Will Smith’s middle name and Jada Pinkett Smith’s middle name perfectly matched their children’s first names Willow and Jaden.
Only, he’d made the whole thing up.
Once the “fact” blew up on his Twitter, so many smug users got back to him to tell him he was late to the party
With over 18000 retweets on his fake fact, there were plenty lining up to tell him they already knew it
Whoops!
We couldn't find this Tweet
In the most condescending way possible
Crushable Crushable
He’s been winning praise for the ultimate internet trolling
Whoops!
We couldn't find this Tweet
Teaching people to do a quick Google search before believing everything they read
Whoops!
We couldn't find this Tweet
He pretty much nailed it on a grand scale
And look how many people have searched for Will Smith’s middle name over the last day
Whoops!
We couldn't find this Tweet
Job done.
