Trivago named this Donegal hotel as the best in Ireland - here's what it's like to stay there

HARVEY’S POINT HOTEL in Donegal has topped the list of the best hotels in Ireland – according to the users of popular travel website Trivago.

Located on Lough Eske just outside Donegal town, Harvey’s Point had a near perfect ranking among guests for the year  - and the place looks absolutely gorgeous.

The views aren’t bad at all

And the rooms are classic

And the bathrooms are HUGE

You have an excellent view over breakfast

When the weather is nice, that view is worthy of any award

And the four poster beds <3

Quirkiness lies around every corner

Sitting outside – when the weather allows

Take us there now

For the food

And the beautiful scenery around the place

A well deserved winner, no doubt
