What to watch on TV tonight: Friday
DailyEdge.ie rounds up the TV shows that you’ll be tweeting about tonight and talking about tomorrow.
Gogglebox (Channel 4, 9.00pm)
It’s back! Our favourite couch critics will be giving their verdict on the week that’s been in television goodness. Expect plenty of hot takes on The X-Factor, Doctor Foster and the new series of Grand Designs – but no Sandi or Sandra. :(
American Horror Story: Cult (FOX, 10.00pm)
The seventh series of Ryan Murphy’s horror anthology kicks off, with a political undercurrent. This series follows the state of the US as its plunged into chaos by a presidential election that leaves in fear for their lives. Hitting a little close to home there, aren’t we Ryan?
The Late Late Show (RTÉ One, 9.35pm)
Ireland’s longest running chat show continues to be an absolute riot. This week, Tubs and co are hosting the first ever live Plough Off – no, really. Consider your plans CANCELLED. (Marian Keyes and Eddie Izzard will be there too but that seems irrelevant all thing considered).
Everybody’s talking about: The Powerpuff Girls
Our favourite cartoon super gals have recruited a new member to their squad.
A fourth Powerpuff girl is making her debut in a five-part movie event airing September 17. While not much is known about the character, South African singer Toya Delazy tweeted that she took on the "epic job."
However, people have been to quick to cop that their new member isn't technically the fourth Powerpuff Girl ...
